2 cups (300ml) milk 1 tsp oolongs milk tea 1/2 cup (125ml) whole milk 1/4 cup (40ml) water 1 tsp lemon juice 1/8 tsp tea leaves (optional) Instructions In a saucepan, heat the milk to 190 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) and add the oolang tea.
Cook for 15 minutes.
When the oola is finished, remove from heat and add water to the saucepan.
Let this cool to around 50 degrees Celsius, then strain through a fine mesh sieve into a large mixing bowl.
Add the lemon juice and tea leaves and stir to combine.
Add some milk and stir.
Leave the ools milk tea on for 5 minutes.
Add more water if it’s too cold to drink it.
Leave it to cool down for at least an hour, but preferably overnight.
The next day, add the rest of the tea leaves.
Stir.
Leave for at leas to cool, then add the lemon extract and stir until combined.
If the tea doesn’t smell good, add more water.
Store in the fridge.
Recipe Notes This is a great oolung tea for those on a low-carb diet.
It has the same amount of oolons milk tea as whole milk, so if you’re using that, just make sure you have enough oolans milk tea for it. 3.2.2925
