The almond milk industry is booming in China, and now the Chinese are getting into the habit of making almond milk, too.
FourFour is reporting that in the first quarter of 2018, almond milk consumption in China jumped 25 percent to 1.8 million tonnes, according to data from China Food Technology Association.
China’s almond milk production is growing at an impressive pace.
In 2020, the number of almond farms in China increased by 25 percent.
In 2018, the average production of a single almond farm was 6,700 tonnes.
By 2020, that number had increased to 9,600 tonnes.
Almond milk is the fastest growing food source in China.
In the first three quarters of 2018 alone, China produced 5.6 billion litres of almond milk.
That’s a 10 percent increase from the previous quarter.
Almonds account for a large portion of the total milk production in China at 2.3 percent.
Almond milk has been gaining popularity in China in recent years.
Alton Brown, founder of FourFourOne, says that almond milk is an easy, delicious and affordable way to boost the nutritional profile of a food.
He says the average Chinese consumes more than 60 liters of milk a year, with milk for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
FourFour says that the industry is expected to grow by 20 percent this year, which would translate into a 25 percent increase in the global almond milk market.
Almoners in China are starting to get into the almond milk game, too, and some are using the extra profits from the sale of the extra almond milk to invest in new farms and more equipment.
“It’s an investment that’s going to help the industry grow,” Brown said.
“I think this is going to be a very positive thing for China.”
In the US, the almond oil industry is a booming one, with production of almonds rising 50 percent from 2016 to 2019.
Almonds are a rich source of protein for people, but the amount of protein in almond milk can be quite low compared to the amount in soybeans.
According to Brown, it’s a good idea to look for almond oil that is at least three times the weight of regular milk.
The United States Department of Agriculture says that people can eat about 25 percent of their daily calories from almond milk if they consume more than 3 grams of fat per day.
Brown says that while there are plenty of almond-based products, he recommends choosing almond milk instead of soy.
Alchemists have discovered that there are many compounds that are better suited to digesting almond milk than soy.
The most popular brand of almond oil, Alchemos, has become the most popular almond milk in the United States.
Brown has also found that almond oil is a good choice for people who don’t like soy or other dairy products.
Brown says that as almond milk becomes more popular, it is expected that more people will choose almond milk for their meals, and that the company is excited to be one of the first to offer it to customers.
